Our story

A little place we built for slowing down.

Still water reflections on St Georges Basin at Serenity 222

Serenity 222 began with a simple idea: that the best kind of getaway is one where you actually stop.

Four retreats, one quiet block on the water at St Georges Basin, and enough space between the trees that you forget the week you came from. When we created this place, we wanted to pay attention to every detail — a touch of luxury, yes, but above all the comfort of a home away from home.

We look after every detail so you don’t have to think about any of them — the fire’s laid, the beds are made, and the Basin’s right there when you’re ready.

What makes it different

Three things we got right.

On the water

The Basin begins where the trees end — with the boardwalk, and guest kayaks and paddleboards waiting at the edge.

Four retreats, one estate

Book one for a quiet escape, or all four for a private waterfront estate that sleeps sixteen or more.

Superhosts, every stay

Our team is here to make sure your stay is incredible — on hand to help with anything you need, before you arrive and while you’re here.
